On the 8th of June 2020, SEREN4 hosted an online training session on the Internal Security Fund (ISF). The Internal Security Fund (ISF) was set up for the period 2014-2020, with a total of 3.8 billion EUR for the seven years. The Fund promotes the implementation of the Internal Security Strategy, law enforcement cooperation and the management of the Union’s external borders. The ISF is composed of two instruments, ISF Borders and Visa and ISF Police.
Over 100 people subscribed to attend the training. Bullseye, being funded by the ISF Police instrument, was invited to present the project and share its experiences in cooperating with projects funded by H2020. Ilse Van Mechelen, Bullseye’s project coordinator, presented the project’s facts, aims and partners. Furthermore, she highlighted the synergies with other projects, such as MELODY, eNOTICE, PRINCE, CBRN POL, ENCIRCLE and PROACTIVE.
